After obtaining her law degree (in 1986) and passing her bar exam (in May 1989) from the University of Geneva, she decided to complete her training by working overseas. She spent two years in the United States and England. Multilingual, she is fluent in French, English, Italian and Spanish.
Once back in Switzerland in 1991, she joined the Kostenbaum & Levy legal practice for whom she worked as an associate until 1998. She then became a partner before becoming completely independent in 2007.
Specialising in family law, she offers her legal advice to those who wish to start divorce proceedings. Her other areas of specialisation are trusts and inheritance. She also works on proceedings of an international nature. You'll find all her specialisms here.
Acting at the civil court, Raffaella Meakin is also a member of STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners).
